JACKED!

I can't sit still...I can't even describe my feelings right now! I'm SO PUMPED about what God is doing through me and through many others that are involved in the Bible Study Kaleb Davis and I are doing. I just wanted to say tonight that God is amazing and I CAN'T WAIT to see what he has in store for us next. Thank you Lord for your gifts and your amazing grace. THANK YOU LORD!

Favorite Song as a Kid

This was one of my favorite songs as a kid. And right now I just wanted to share it with everyone and I just want to say that I don't care who you are and I don't care what you've done, but I love you. And if you ever need to talk to anyone or if you ever feel lost, down, broken, or just bored. Contact me. I'm on facebook, myspace, and my e-mail is christopher.t.pitts@ac.edu.
Please contact me if you would like to talk.
Praise the Lord for what he has done in us. Praise God for who he has become through us. And PRAISE GOD for the opportunities we get DAILY to do what we enjoy doing and to be happy. We are all blessed. Thank you Lord.

I love you Lord
And I lift my voice
To worship you
oh my soul
rejoice

Take joy my king
in what you hear
and may it be a sweet
sweet sound
in your ear

Temptation

Hey Guys,
Sorry it has been a little while since my last post but I am back on the horse. I want to ask all of you to pray for me and my walk with God. I find myself more and more as I continue on doing God's work I struggle more and more with living God's will. Thats a little bit of what I want to talk about today.
Kaleb Davis wrote a good post on His Blog about the leaders in the church and the unclear views on many aspects of the church, Kaleb talked about alcohol. I would just like to talk about in general the leaders of God's movement here. God gave everyone a gift and a purpose. It is our job to use our gifts to glorify God and use them as a tool to reach others for Him.(Jeremiah 29:11)
But one thing that ALL of us have in common is a call to the ministry. We are to use the gifts God gave us and the opportunities that he gives us to minister to others. WE ARE ALL CALLED TO BE MINISTERS! But where we fall short in that category is actually living the lives that we teach about. I am a very unexperienced rookie in the field of doing God's work. As you know Kaleb and I started a Bible Study and we talk a lot during the Bible Study, as the leaders. And though we have only been doing this about a month now we have both began to run into the difficulties and hardships of doing God's will. The toughest barrel for me to get past so far, and I'm not passed it yet, is "practicing what I preach". It seems to have become extremely hard to live a Godly life since starting this Bible Study. I catch myself daily being tempted by the devil to go back to my old ways and I pull out of it by the grace and amazing power of God. But sometimes I do give in and this is where I struggle. I recently came across this passage and I believe it is the Lord telling me to shape up!
Proverbs 29:1 "Who ever is stubborn after being corrected many times will suddenly be hurt beyond belief."
I read that in my devotion one night shortly after being tempted but not giving in. This struck me very hard and very intimately and it proves once again that you can't hide anything from God! I pray for and challenge you to fight temptation! To win the battle! and to continue to do God's work while living the life that you preach about. Perceiver through all the adversity you will face because it will only make you stronger and only give you more and more to praise God about. Please pray for Kaleb and I and our walks with Christ because we too struggle ,along with all the church leaders, with living a Godly life.
Study your Bible and pray is the only way to be successful against the temptations we will face.
