I'm sorry for the confusion but the music on MySpace won't be up for a couple more days. I hope to get everything fixed tomorrow but I am having a lot of difficulty getting it on there. So please pray for about that.
This song is more of a power song and it upbeat and a good one to throw distortion on and rock you face off for God. I wrote it one day sitting around the house and it basically just tells the story of forgivness. Such as why we are forgiven and how it became that way.
Jesus Christ, the only perfect man to ever walk the Earth, died on the cross for our sins. This means that had he not died for us, we would not be alive today. When people say, "Jesus died for us" I think it gets missunderstood sometimes, so allow me to clearify. Sin equals death, Jesus had NO sin and we have many. WE should have been and should BE the ones on the cross but Jesus DIED FOR US. So that we wouldn't have to bare the pain and suffering. That is how great and merciful our Lord is. Jesus is our SAVIOR! He saved us from the pain and hurt of death and gave us eternal life. PRAISE GOD!
The first verse of this song is talking about the fallen angels of Noah's time. The angels that fell before Christ came to the Earth. 1Peter 3:19-22 tells us that after Jesus died in the three days before his resurection he went to a place referred to in the Bible as "prison" and preached victory to the fallen ones of noah's time. Which were the 8 people that were saved through water("which baptism represents today not as a removal of dirt from the body, but as an appeal to God for a clear conscience through the resurection of Jesus Christ"- 1Peter 3:21) during the building of the ark. These people are said in the Bible to never return to the Kingdom of God.
The second verse is directly out of the Bible, Joshua 1:9. It says,"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; be not frightened, neither be dismayed; forthe Lord your God is with you where ever you go."
I put this in there as encouragement to get out there and do what God called you to do. Even if your not sure if thats what it is, just give it a shot. If you can step back and look at the entire situation, and know that nothing about what you think it is God wants you to do can be considered harmful, THEN DO IT! I read this message in Kaleb Davis's blog today(http://www.kalebdavis.blogspot.com/). God has given everyone a special gift and put them on this Earth to use to glorify him. If we are not doing that, why are you wasteing time? Get out there and do what the Lord has called us all to do. TELL PEOPLE ABOUT JESUS!
"Forgiven"
Verse:
Livin a life full of mysteries
hearing the sounds of victory
it must be hard
to know you've fallen
out of reach

Verse:
Livin a life full of mysteries
hearing the sounds of victory
it must be hard
to know you've fallen
out of reach
Angels that have fallen
will never return
The ones that turned away from him
A fallen Angel, will never
Rise again
Chorus:
Cause when Jesus died he rose again
and said this is where your life begins
Go and tell everyone just who I am, God's only son
And your sins are forgiven
your sins are forgiven
Verse:
He commanded us to be strong and brave
Be not frieghtned, neither be dismayed
For the lord your God, He is with you
anywhere
Repeat Chorus
