When You Don't Want To

Ever felt God pulling you to do something and its something you just really did not want to do from fear of looking dumb or bothering someone else?
I most definitly have and encourage all of us to do better in the future. As an example for me I was at home just recently this summer and I went to the gym to work out. I listened to a song by Kutless called, "Grace and Love". This song is amazing and will rock your face off everytime. I thought to myself over and over again how awesome it would be to hear Lee McDerment and the "Newspring Band" at Newspring church play this song. I thought to myself that I would write to Lee or someone there and make my request. Then I started second guessing myself and was like, "No, Lee would laugh at that and I'm sure they get requests like that all the time I would just be wasteing time out of his day." After working out I went to Blockbuster to rent a movie and directly as I walked in the door one of the lead singers for the band was there. She had just sang recently one sunday and she would have been perfect. That was God telling me "Go! Tell her about the song!" But she was with her boyfriend and I stood there and thought of every excuse not to until she was gone and I then later and still do regret it. That song has and will save many lives and touch many more. I highly recomend listening to it.
Moral of the story is a challenge,
I challenge each and everyone of you to make your self uncomfortable for God. After all he was NAILED TO A CROSS FOR US!...Don't follow in my foot steps but follow in those of the Lord.
